Is it safe to use VS12RC with .NET 4.5 on AspNetWebStack

In Henrick's blog post "Getting Started With ASP.NET Web Stack Source on CodePlex" he states:

  • You cannot use Visual Studio 11 Beta – you have to use Visual Studio 2010.
  • You cannot have ASP.NET MVC 4 Beta for Visual Studio 2010 installed.

Is this true of VS12RC or MVC 4 RC?

You can use ASP.NET MVC 4 RC with Visual Studio 2012 RC and the Windows 8 Release Preview. All of these release work happily together.

To clarify what Daniel said, all of the RC releases work well together. However, if you want to use the latest sources or latest nightly builds then we do not guarantee full compatibility with the RC release. In addition for certain source related tasks (like compiling and running unit tests) you will have to uninstall MVC 4, regardless of which version you have.

Thank you marcind, That's what I was looking for.  I'll keep the second dev vm configured as per Henrik's blog until further notice.
