Debug into the Source Code

Hello ASP.NET Team,

is there an easier way to debug from my MVC App into the framework source code or is this still the only way http://weblogs.asp.net/gunnarpeipman/archive/2010/07/04/stepping-into-asp-net-mvc-source-code-with-visual-studio-debugger.aspx?

My scenario: I´m currently working on CSRF prevention and want to know more about how the AntiForgeryToken works, but I´m unable to debug into the AntiForgeryWorker.cs because of "The breakpoint will not currently be hit. The source code is different...".

Another scenario would be that I made some changes in the MVC source and want to debug into to framework.

Any ideas?

That is still the best way for RTM versions of MVC.

For the problem about changed source code file, have you tried right clicking the breakpoint, clicking "Location", and then checking "Allow the source code to be different from the original version"?
